A clinical trial was conducted on a collagen peptide that contains a high amount of active ingredients and can be transferred into the blood more.

 ● 5 g/day, 8 weeks (Feb - Apr, 2012)

  Double-blind :   neither the doctors nor the subjects knew who received what treatment

DI-PEPTIDE, which contains high levels of active ingredients Pro-Hyp (PO) and Hyp-Gly (OG), improved skin moisture, smoothness and clarity compared to standard type product. Furthermore, only in DI-PEPTIDE, the elasticity significantly increased and number of wrinkles significantly decreased. This is probably because the active ingredients PO and OG acted on skin moisturizing factors, elasticity factors and metabolic factors.

Ingestion of 3 g / day of Standard type collagen peptide significantly improved skin moisture content and elasticity. This is probably because the active ingredients Pro-Hyp (PO) and Hyp-Gly (OG) contained in this collagen peptide acted on skin moisturizing factors, elasticity factors and metabolic factors.

DI-PEPTIDE group showed significantly higher moisture content and elasticity than the placebo group from week 4, and skin roughness significantly decreased from week 4. This is probably because the active ingredients PO and OG acted on the skin's moisturizing, and epidermal turnover factors.

Two-sided test, and the significance level was set to 5%, with a confidence interval of 95%. Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used for intragroup comparisons of baseline and after 3 months of intake.

After taking 5g/day of DI-PEPTIDE or Placebo for three months, pigmented patches(Level 3: Large, dark spots) in the DI-PEPTIDE group was significantly reduced, whereas those in the placebo group was not significantly reduced compared with their baseline.
