Stable procurement of raw materials is essential for us to continuously supply products over the long term.

We are committed to responsible sourcing practices that reflect our accountability to society. This includes delivering safe, high-quality products to our customers and maintaining transparent communication.

To this end, we strive to build a stable supply chain by fostering strong partnerships with suppliers both in Japan and overseas.

The Gelatin Supply Chain

To fulfill its social responsibilities throughout the whole supply chain, the Nitta Gelatin Group is working with its business partners to ensure responsible procurement. We view our suppliers of raw materials as important partners and strive to build trusting relationships through open, fair, and equitable transactions. As a global company, we also work to earn society’s trust by promoting procurement practices across our supply chain—including our suppliers—that take into account environmental protection, quality, occupational safety, and human rights.

Regular Assessment of Suppliers

Before commencing transactions, we ensure that our suppliers understand our procurement policy and undergo an initial evaluation. After business begins, we conduct regular assessments based on ISO 9001 standards. Through these evaluations, we share issues and challenges with our suppliers and work together to improve the quality of the raw materials we purchase.

Supplier Code of Conduct
